No Floor Rails
Top-hung suspension eliminates floor guide channels. Continuous flooring runs under and through the partition stack position, preventing trip hazards and simplifying floor transitions in high-traffic venues.
Mechanical Perimeter Seals
Scissor-jack actuated seals extend under handle operation to compress against ceiling and floor simultaneously. When retracted, the panel travels freely. Seal compression is consistent regardless of floor level variations within ±10mm.
Omnidirectional Stacking
Multi-point ceiling tracks enable panel routing to stacking positions at 90°, 180°, or into remote storage pockets. Stacking configurations are engineered per project to maximize usable floor area when partitions are open.
Integrated Pass Doors
Acoustic pass doors with retractable drop seals can be incorporated into any panel. Single and double leaf configurations available. Door units fold within the panel stack profile and maintain full acoustic rating when closed.
What is the difference between STC and dB Rw ratings?
STC (Sound Transmission Class) is the US standard per ASTM E90, while dB Rw (weighted sound reduction index) is the European equivalent per ISO 10140. Both measure acoustic isolation but use slightly different calculation methods. The styleMOVE range achieves both ratings — our engineers specify the correct standard for your project location.
How do the retractable mechanical seals work?
Each panel contains an internal scissor-jack mechanism operated by the installation handle. When actuated, the mechanism extends the top and bottom seals perpendicular to the panel, creating positive compression against the ceiling receiver and the finished floor without any permanent floor guide track.
What configurations are available for stacking?
The styleMOVE system supports straight-run stacking, 90° turn stacking, T-junction configurations, and remote pocket stacking. Multi-track ceiling systems allow panels to be routed to multiple stacking locations, enabling full room subdivision with a single set of panels.
Can styleMOVE panels include pass doors?
Yes. Single or double pass doors with acoustic drop seals and pressure handles can be incorporated into any standard panel. The door unit is flush-folded and operates as part of the panel stack, maintaining the acoustic performance of the partition when closed.
What site conditions affect styleMOVE installation?
The key requirement is a structurally adequate ceiling to carry the suspended load of the track and panels. Stylewall provides load calculations for structural engineer review. Floor finish must be level and continuous, as the retractable seals must compress against the finished floor surface.
